So, apparently I need to do a better job of checking my sources. The battery deal at RiteAid isn't quite as good as I had thought. You have to buy $15 worth of batteries (2 packs) to get the $5 SCR. With the $2 in-ad coupon and the $0.75 manufacturer's coupons, you're paying $2.74 per pack (including the rebate). Not bad, but I've seen much better. Also, at CVS, if you are interested in the hair care rebates (Pantene, Head and Shoulders or Herbal Essences), I found out that all 3 of these are considered the same offer, and there is a limit of 1 per card. Your best bet: Head and Shoulders ($2.99 after $1 cpn and ECB) or Herbal Essences (get a free styling product with cpn). However, with RR and coupon H&S is $2.50 at Walgreens this week, so if that's what you're after, I'd go to WAGS instead.
One more thing - I should have mentioned this earlier, but if you're looking for the free school supplies at CVS and they are out of stock, get a rain check. You can come back any time (even beyond the 3 day sale) and get these items with the ECBs. It'll take a few minutes to get someone to write all those rain checks for you, but it may be worth it to score free school supplies without having to run around town to find a CVS that has them in stock.
Happy shopping!
